The Pain Management Programme just was not inclusive despite its statements that they were.
I struggled despite all their promises to provide adapted learning materials because these were not always forthcoming and one clinician left me without materials that I was required to apply during the rest of the course. They also later blamed my having to have special handouts for them forgetting to bring handouts for the rest of the group.
Towards my last days on the course people were texting and even answering phone calls during sessions interrupting and talking over each other and even talking over clinicians while they were delivering sessions. This was not an effective learning experience for me because of these problems.
I think people should be wary of using the course if you have learning disabilities.
"Not an effective learning experience"
