"In and out of A&E in under an hour"

I attended Hairmyres A & E department on a Sunday in December 2017 10:30am.

I arrived and reported into the reception after an accident i had on my bicycle. Crashed on ice and hurt my shoulder.

I then sat down in the waiting area and i was called in just over 5 minutes and taken through to the minor injury's department. I was  assessed and given pain relief.

Then i was sent to have my shoulder Ex-rayed and then returned to the department.

I was then informed that i had not cracked or broken bones. at this point i was given advice and contact details for NHS 24 to arrange pysio help.

During the visit i was very happy with the relaxed and professional attitude of all the people i came in contact with.

Who were considerate and caring. This made my visit to A&E assuring and friendly.

I was also very impressed with the timing of my visit. i was booked-in assessed treated and discharge in under an hour.
