I arrived at the Endoscopy unit this morning, which I have to say looked amazing, and was greeted by the lovely receptionist. After filling in my form that she handed me, I was then taken into a room by a lady who did my observations and put my candular in. She was so lovely, and explained everything to me. I then waited for a short period back in the waiting room, before being collected for my procedure. I was about to have a gastroscopy. Everyone involved were so professional, kind and put me at ease, and I felt completely reassured. The doctor was patient and kind as were the two ladies in there with me. I would like to say a huge thankyou to all involved today.
I feel that the hospital and staff get such bad press sometimes, and I want people to know that it is not always a negative experience.
Yours sincerely
Mrs. Amanda (Mandy) Eldridge. Xxx
