Today I attended the Breast Two Week Wait Clinic after finding a breast lump. I was seen straight away by the Breast Care Nurse who carried out a thorough examination and advised me of what was going to happen step by step, ensuring I understood. I then attended the Mammography and Ultrasound Departments and was seen by very professional Radiographers and Radiologist. Again everything was explained fully and images taken. After an informative consultation I returned to the Breast Nurse for a discharge as nothing sinister was found. The care I received today was amazing from all members of staff, Receptionists, Nurses, Radiographers and Radiologist. The service offered in this department is outstanding. Thank you
