"Day surgery"

About: Derriford Hospital

I had a very positive experience having my gall bladder removed by keyhole surgery. The unit including

Erme Ward and Postbridge ward was very slickly run. The staff from consultant, anaesthetist, nurses and health care assistants were friendly, cheerful and professional. I couldn’t fault the care I had in the few hours that I was there. The wards were clean and comfortable.

Thank you to all the staff !

The Matron for Planned Investigation Unit, Main Outpatients, Main Recovery, Postbridge, Fal, Erme and Imaging has responded to say:

Please pass on our thanks to this patient. We are all very pleased to receive positive comments such as this and we hope their recovery continues well.

The Matron has also asked her ward manager to share your comments with both teams.
