About: Hospital Of St Cross / Trauma and orthopaedics

2nd admission and sorry cedar ward it's gone downhill

I sang your praises last time but now am disgusted

No communication

No choice with meals

Not even given opportunity to wash hands after bed pan

No help with washing or dressing

Just had hip replacement so reliant on help!

Left for 20 minutes in agony for pain relief

Told to have wash at sink no plug etc no help just left

So upsetting when last time the care was outstanding

I was very disappointed to hear that, while on your previous visit to Cedar Ward you were impressed with the care you received, you were extremely unhappy with the care you have received this time.

These are not the standards of care which we aim to provide, and I am truly sorry for your experience.

I have spoken to the Modern Matron for this ward at the Hospital of St Cross, Judith Lewis.
