"support from IHT team Airedale"

About: Meridian House / Adult mental health service

(as the patient),

I was supported through an acute period of depression by the team. This enabled me to stay at work due to the flexibility of the meeting/visiting times. As well as having either daily visits, or phone calls, I could also phone the team at any time of the day or night for support. I reached a point where I felt like I wanted to go into hospital, but the team managed to keep me at home. They were very helpful in sorting out all the necessary things I required, which enabled me to relinquish some of the responsibility in getting what I needed.

I was allocated a very good care co-ordinator who continued to support me when my time with the IHT ended. He was invaluable in helping me to organise my life to encourage my recovery. Thank-you to everyone.
