sadly my experiance here was ver poor.
I had just come out of the harplands hospital after two weeks due to attempted suicicde.
The day after I had an appointment here to 'discuss my ongoing treatment'.
We arrived on time fot the appointment, however after a wait the receptionist came out to "dounle cecke" why we where here by shouting it across the waiting room.
It was clear that no one knew we where coming.
After a further wait i was ushred into a room looking like a cleaning cupboard and the person never offered a name.
It was quickly apparant that the person knew nothing about my case, the person even said they "had a quick read through my notes".
it went down Hill from here.
I wwas told that I wouldnt have a medication review until febuary st the eraliest, even though i was reducing my medication from the directions of the hospital.
I was told that
I would not be seeing any proffesionals and that when I asked if I was now on my own they said "basically yes".
In the hospital i was told a certain diagnosis but now i am left in limbo being told to come of my medication without any replacement put in place.
I ido not know if I have this condition or not but I am getting no support for it or any treatment.
I was clearly still very unwell but the person was cold, uncaring and had clearly made all the decisions without any discussion.
How i was still alive by the end of the day after this meeting is still a shock to me,
It is very sad that you can be left in this situation, where it is only a matter of time before it wall all happen again simply due to a lack of care.
The person was cold, rude and wouldnt listen.
They had already made up their mind but tey didnt even know what medication i was on.
I am not even sure what i was meant to be there for this was not even explained.
I was not even offered a leaflet or a contant number let alone a named conatct
I will hopefully be able to be seen by somebody else to discuss my questions and concerns but when this will be who knows?
very poor
"Shcking experiance very sad"
