taken into Darlington memorial hospital no medical staff ie doctor seen for 4/5 hrs then blood thinning drug given . admitted to ward 32 no other treatment given for two weeks surgeon not on site major surgery in attempt to save leg .which failed.leg removed june 09 . treatment for fitting prosthetic leg started October 09 at james cook hospital m/boro leg being used is attached by belt around waist .which is very uncomfortable due to scaring in groin and lower stomach have now had this leg for 16 months .my consultant has been on sick leave pretty much all of 2010 so unable to advance my treatment at present date. feb 2011
