"Huge thanks and appreciation"

My heartfelt thanks to all the staff in A and E and cardiology short stay unit for their kindness, professionalism and superb care during my recent unexpected use of your facilities.

First visit to A and E resulting in a trip to the ambulatory care unit and CT scan gave me reassurance.

Sadly had to return to A and E on Boxing Day and was swiftly admitted to Cardiac short stay unit.

Superb care and rapid treatment through a number of cardiac twists and turns getting me back on an even keel allowing me to return home on the 29th December.

Without exception all of your staff, whatever their role, were superb and cared for me exquisitely.

I cannot praise them enough.

I would also like to compliment your catering teams who supplied exceptional quality food throughout my stay and I know this is achieved within very strict budgets.

You are quite literally life savers with style and good humour.
