"111 service"

I'm very healthy person, but this Christmas I ended up in the bed with cold and high temperature. Called 111 and they said Dr will call me back with in 24h. Fantastic!

2am phone call and the person said today hospital is closed, but tomorrow morning you have to be 9:30am in out of hours Stamford Hospital. Perfect, thank you very much.

I was happy as I can see the doctor when most of the places is closed. Next morning I woke up and thinking - as it was 2am and I remember she said today they're closed, but tomorrow you have to be 9:30am in hospital. Is it today or tomorrow?

Decided to call 111 to confirm. Called and they don't know and can't find any info, but promised to call back. As it was close to 9:30am and I did not want to take my chances I've jumped in my car and went to the hospital any way. Up on arrival in hospital I received a voice mail in which chap clearly saying my appointment is today 9:30am in Spalding Hospital! Can't remember any conversation about Spalding... strange!

Heading home and dialing 111 again. Person taking my details and straight away confirm my appointment was today 9:30am in Stmaford Hospital. I was upset and ready to travel back to the hospital, but the person from 111 said it's no point as I've missed my appointment! Thanks 111 why did I miss my appointment? I just went back and saw the doctor any way. Luckily I live near the hospital, but I think it's unacceptable. Ok I was just with high temperature and live near the hospital, but it's school boy error. In short - it felt like left hand don't know what the right hand are doing! I would recommend to say appointment date, not today or tomorrow. I think at 2am tomorrow is not 9:30am the same day and Stamford Hospital or Spalding Hospital is 2 different things in my opinion. Please improve the basics, otherwise - thanks for the help!
