"Emergency for pregnant women"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital / Maternity

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and I have hyperemesis. I had a difficult pregnancy so far and I still have, feelings sick, dizzy almost all the time.for the past 3 days I wasn’t able to eat and of course I end up here in the hospital. Since 8 AM until 12 Pm no one was able to assist me. Been to maternity unit and there is just 1 doctor if you can imagine, that assist only labours or if any pregnant woman is bleeding... for them the fact that I’m not feeling good and having stomach pains and not eating for the past 3 days doesn’t mean emergency. I agree that I’m not dying but for me any pain makes me worried for my health and my baby’s health. And if I’m not feeling good how I’m supposed to carry the pregnancy? Completely disappointed!
