About: South Tyneside District Hospital / Accident and emergency

absolutely abysmal staff at this hospital rude, obnoxious and not at all courteous to your needs. waiting times are an absolute joke considering best part of the time staff are just stood round chatting. but what got me most was a nurse who as soon as seeing my son (who has MS) arriving by ambulance said and I quote 'oh Christ not another drunken idiot, what have i done to deserve this God give me strength' I was appalled at this derogatory statement and have put a complaint in regarding her uncouth attitude mind not that many of the staff are much better to be perfectly honest.

for professional care and not a circus act I suggest Sunderland Royal or even better The Queen Elizabeth in Gateshead (if not too far afield)
