Recently my wife underwent knee replacement surgery at Torbay Hospital.
Right from the initial consultations, through pre-op advice and guidance, to the surgery and hospital care and then onto post-discharge support, the quality of care was faultless.
At every stage she enjoyed professional and efficient service delivered in an impressive and 'joined-up' manner.
Well done Torbay and S Devon Healthcare Trust!
Her experiences mirror my own: over the past twelve years I have had to deal with prostate cancer and, more recently, macular degeneration and both disciplines involved have also shown a high level of care and efficiency.
The eye clinic (what must be one of the busiest clinics at Torbay) is always bustling but the staff always have time for a smile despite the pressure they must endure
"Fautless Joined-up care"
