I was at the RVI today (22nd December 2017) for a bilateral rhizolysis.
Maybe coffee and biscuits in the theatre itself would have been the icing on the cake while I talked to the doctor and his staff.
What a fantastic experience from communication with his secrateries prior to this date and all of the staff that my wife and I met this morning, made this in to a very pleasurable and believe it or not an enjoyable experience.
I know the media gives the NHS some bad or poor reviews but in all honesty every time I have been to the RVI to see the Doctor it has been nothing but pleasurable. Appointment times kept and again his staff in clinic, excellent.
So for the staff, thank you again for the care and attention you showed not only to myself but also to my wife who was waiting in the wings.
What a shining example of how the NHS should and does work.
PS. I did get coffee and biscuits on my release from theatre.
"Excellence."
