"Very impressive"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / General surgery

Our 13 year old son who is profoundly deaf and has learning difficulties had to have an operation at the hospital. The staff were all very impressive. They were helpful, friendly, worked hard to engage a somewhat resistant young man. Of special note were the two nurses on Padua ward, as well as the anaesthetists who were outstanding in the way they put Josh to sleep. The two nurses in recovery were also very helpful, and engaged Josh well (sorry we didn’t get their names) please pass on our sincere thanks to all the staff who we know work under difficult conditions. Howard Grassow and Jaren Bassett

Thank you very much for letting us know about the positive experience you and Josh had with his recent surgery.

We will pass your comments on to the surgical and ward staff.

We hope Josh is recovering well.

Kind regards.
