"disappointed"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital / Clinical haematology

Dirty waiting room

Told blood tests admission stop at 5 to 5.15pm when hours finish at 5.30 so that they can get the bloods off the courier in time

so when I turned up at 4.30pm along with some other patients we were told that there was actually no guarantee any of us would get a blood test today

some patients went home and I decided to risk waiting as had travelled, and paid a fair amount to park in the car park so felt to go home now was worth risking as would just have to then travel and pay car park again tomorrow as suggested

actually the wait time was only 15-20 mins which was confusing ?

The person who did the blood test was helpful and did not understand why people were being told they may not get test that day

think you should put clear information on your website about when you can and cannot have a blood test to avoid confusion and also inform the people who work on reception please

Thank you for your review about your recent visit to our blood testing clinic at the hospital. We do provide the opening hours of the clinic on our website, but we'll share your feedback with our colleagues in pathology who will take a look at the information available and see if it needs to be updated.
