"Positive birth experience"

I received an outstanding standard of care on Queens labor/maternity ward. I was helped by an off-dury Queens employee as I entered the hospital in labour and unable to walk.

Doctors, nurses and midwives then worked seamlessly together, involving me in all stages of my labour, birth and recovery on the ward. The ward was exceptionally busy but I always felt attended to and given courtesy and respect. A team of doctors was immediately available when there was a near-emergency situation during birth. The birth was managed by a midwife who believed in my capability to give birth naturally, which I feel contributed to my successful and wholly positive birth experience at Queens.
