"Surprise return"

About: Royal Preston Hospital / Accident and emergency

After my satisfactory visit on the 6 th of December I was surprised to find myself back again in

A+E on the 13 th of December!

There were similar circumstances, unhappy during the night, a call to 111 and an ambulance trip.

My blood pressure was soaring and the ambulance crew realized that I was suffering from Anxiety. However their further tests found a different irregular heart beat. (PVC, not AF)

Staff did further tests on arrival and I rested in a side room. I meet some folk who cared for me the week before, which was a relief.

Further monitoring showed my BP to be normal.

After a proper breakfast I was allowed home after a thorough examination and medical review by a Doctor.

He did one extra test which showed that I had a urine infection too! More tablets.Once again I found the staff to be polite and skillful.

I hope I don't have to go every Wednesday!
