Have to thank all the staff in the paediatric assessment unit, theatres for there professionalism, care and kindness. My son was treated as a day case and from the minute he entered the assessment and unit he was treated as a wee king! Staff were very informative, listened to my concerns and put me at ease. Overall a good experience for our son and as parent.

Thank you for your lovely posting. I hope your wee boy is making a good recovery.

It is great to hear that everything went so well at what would have been an anxious time for all. Staff being caring and kind can make all the difference especially to a child and I’m delighted your son had such a good experience in our care and was treated like a king! It is also reassuring to know that as a parent you were involved in everything and kept updated helping to allay your fears.

I am sure your son will be getting lots of TLC during his recovery and hope that he had a lovely Christmas.
