"Poor levels of Care"

During my time at Farnham Road, bimonthly meetings with someone in reality meant whenever they felt like it. I was often not notified when the person I was seeing was sick, and considering I only had afternoon appointments it is disgraceful that I had to wait in the waiting for up to 45 minutes to be told 'we can't see you, go home and we will contact you'. Then I'd be waiting anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months to get another appointments. This happened a total of 3 times...

I had a full time job when I was referred to this service, and had to routinely change appointment times so I could be taking as little time off work as possible - even after discussing my work patterns with them at great length and giving them the best times I could make an appointment.

One day I phoned up because, yet again I had been given an appointment outside of hours I said I could do. No one answered when I called so I left a message explaining I worked and needed to change the appointment. Two days later I got a letter explaining I had been deemed fit enough to be discharged. An assessment made on a voicemail I had left about rescheduling a meeting and the last time I actually saw them, 6 months prior! Even my GP agrees this was the wrong discussion, and I need the help of this service to be able to move forward and begin to recover from my fairly serious mental illness.

I surely can't be the only one with a living with a serious mental illness and working full time, I appreciate that, finically, times are hard, and it is an over worked system. But even still, this really is not acceptable.
