I had a dexa scan at 8.30 this morning in room 15 at the Osteoporosis Screening Unit and cannot praise the lady that did the scan enough.
My initial appointment was for this afternoon but had to be changed because of staff illness. Staff went out of their way to personally contact me yesterday to make me aware of the situation and to offer me an alternative time, taking their (her) time to ring me more than once to convey the information.
I was treated with the utmost consideration before, during and after the scan. Thank you. How strange that X-ray/radiology isn't mentioned on the department list choices...i've had to print in 'don't know'.
