My son aged 12 has just been discharged after a 5 day stay.during the 5 days he was stuck in a bed on 2 drips.he was very upset when he found out he had to stay due to missing out his Xmas festivities at home and School.the nurses on ward s3 were outstanding, they continually reassured him and kept him entertained.on his first night the ward was treated to carol singers, this really lifted his spirits then on the 3rd day he had a visit from the scout group who delivered hand knitted teddies to all,a gift he will always treasure.he was also treated to elf service day where other treats were shared. His stay was very entertaining.
The staff on ward s3 were fantastic, very friendly, always found time for the kids, always came running if we needed them.the ward was immaculate, always clean and tidy.i can’t pick fault with anything during our stay.
"Wonderful stay"
