"Rude customer service at pharmacy."

About: Harrogate District Hospital / Dermatology

Appointment and clinic all ran smooth. Lovely doctors very caring and can't do enough for you.

Pharmacy staff however- I may have caught them on an off day but they were not to the same standard as the other staff members I had previously encountered. Didn't acknowledge me when I approached the counter despite being stood directly in front of me (visibly pre occupied but a simple 'hello' does not hurt) .

The other lady who seemed to be of more authority refused my prescription as it wasn't done accurately so I needed to go up to my doctor and get it altered. A little bit frustrating but fine because I know things like that happen. What is not nice is the passive aggressive smile and the slamming shut of the prescription box once collected. This was due to my confusion as to why I could not receive my prescription.I understand being busy and having many people to sort out and things to do but the overall attitude of the staff left me feeling inferior and humiliated. This was also noted by other patients waiting outside. I do hope I don't receive the same treatment next time as the hospital is perfect all round as a whole.
