I had my baby prematurely at QMC Neonatal Unit. The care my baby received was excellent, however I would like to mention 1 particular person who to me was exceptional in her kindness, knowledge and professionalism. She went that extra mile and the only downside is that she is only on the neonatal unit one day a week!
Her name was Tracey and she was a fab worker, she helped me bond with my baby and gave me so much help support and advice on play development. She was a breath of fresh air on Monday mornings- which I and many parents looked forward to her coming. She was great to offload our anxieties worries and fears to because she had the time. My baby is so happy and doing well now but that is also down to Tracey giving me the confidence and for the ideas on baby development. I know the parents that I met also feel the same about the kindness and support we received from this 'angel' and as a parent who has gone through this Tracey needs to be on the unit everyday especially when bonding was an issue. It made our time on the unit less traumatic when Tracey was there to focus on your baby as a "baby" Thank you so much.
