All staff at Bedford Hospital leading up to surgery were amazing, I couldn't fault anyone until I arrived on the ward. In my experience, I was not a person in Tavistock ward, I was an occupied bed until you have had the obligatory sandwich, tea and a wee then you are discharged. I experienced no care, no interaction.
It was quite unpleasant and a surprise after everyone else being so 'nice'.
