What I liked

I would like to thank the Consultant and all the staff on F3 who looked after me during my knee replacement operation, 2-6 Feb. I admired their patience and professionalism - and their ability to have a laugh. I was even more impressed by their constant hard work.

After retiring from the Army I was an NHS chief exec (FHSA) for several years and I found it very interesting to see how seamlessly the Army component is integrated into Frimley Park. I was also struck by the multinational nature of the staffing and how well that worked too - it was also fun to be able to practise my Nepali.

What could be improved

As a restaurateur for 10 years (after my time in the NHS), if there is one thing I would try to improve, it is the food - but, to be fair, I didn't have much appetite after my operation!
