"Terrible phone service form switchboard"

As a professional calling your department I would expect switchboard to be more accommodating. Asking for confidential information is not ok. And being hang up on twice is unprofessional. We are supposed to be here working for patients, how can I do that when I am unable to even speak to someone in your department.
