Due to a bad fall I had recently I have had to make several visits to Stoke Mandeville, the last visit was 3 days ago when I had an operation to secure my broken bones with the aid of a metal plate that has been inserted in my wrist.
I would just like to thank everyone I met along the way, from my visit first to A&E, to the lovely staff in the plaster room, the nice member of staff who took my blood, x-ray staff, wonderful surgeon, all the day staff in the day surgery unit, the porter who wheeled me down, the theatre staff and the lovely nurses who are there for you as you are coming around from the anesthetic, you were all working so hard, I knew I couldn't have been in better hands, thank you all so very much.
"Excellent care"
