"an experience i will never forget and..."

About: Nuffield Health, Tees Hospital

What I liked

I went into the Nuffield in Stockton and found the experience to be one i will never forget. the staff were friendly. if you buzzed for a nurse they were there within 1-2 mins,

The food was loads better than the food you get in the NHS hospitals, and the choice was very good.

When i was admited the nurse was there to take you to the ward within 5 minutes of letting the receptionist know why you were there.

My consultant was very good and explaned everything to me which helped me to relax before going in for the surgery.

If i didn't understand anything my consulant explaned it to me in a way that i could understand.

You were treated with dignity at all times and you didn't feel like you were wasting any of the nurses time.

The admission procedure was very quick and they told you what they were doing all the time.

On the day of discharge i didn't feel like i had to vacate the room quickly, so they could get it ready for the next person. The asked me when i was being picked up and when i told them after lunch they were fine with this. You wern't made to wait anywhere else like you do in the NHS hospitals.

I would defnitley consider private again and wouldn't hesitate comming back to the nuffied for any treatment in the future.

What could be improved

nothing, i found everything great.AdmissionsSurgeryDignityFoodConsultantsNursing staffReception staffConsideratePrivacy
