"Information volunteered by Junior nurse on..."

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute) / Trauma and orthopaedics

My father was moved to Cedar ward today and at visiting time I wanted to make sure that the ward had the correct up to date family contacts on file. The Junior nurse took full hold of the situation taking the information from me and then proceeded to offer further details of my father's care going forward which they explained I'm direct terms to me which I was delighted to hear. They also covered information about the condition my father was in when he arrived at Northampton General Hospital after a fall. They took ownership of making sure I had all the facts which I needed to understand a little more of what may have lead to my father's fall. Their direct approach gave me full confidence that my Dad is in good hands a reassurance which is very much needed in this uncertain time for our family. Thank you so far and the team on Cedar.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience on Cedar ward and the care your father is receiving after his fall.

If you do have any concerns please don't hesitate to talk to the staff on the ward and they will do their best to help.
