"Wonderful care, long waiting time"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

Arrived 10 mins early and waited. And waited and waited.  Staff were wonderful though once we got seen and the actual procedure was skillfully and painlessly executed.  A chat with the consultant when finished set my mind completely at rest. and half an hour later I was good to go. Nice cuppa and a sandwich rounded off the almost pleasurable experience.   

Wonderful care in a spotless environment, Difficult to be much better.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about your recent endoscopy experience on Care Opinion.

It was nice to read that your care was good when you had your recent test and more importantly that you test results were favourable.

I can imagine that your cuppa and sandwich were very welcome!

There are times when the endoscopy lists can be delayed for a variety of reasons and I am sorry that this happened to you. The staff would normally keep the patients who are waiting informed about delays and expected timescales and I hope that this was your experience.

I will share your post with our staff now, they will appreciate your kind comments and constructive feedback.
