"history of chronic pain"

I am a 20 year old woman with a history of chronic pain and frequent dislocations, subluxations and back pain - I was diagnosed in my hometown of Birmingham which took me 10 years, and then came to rheumatology here in Preston for my now unbearable back pain since moving. They were not interested at all in my back pain and fobbed me off, then rediagnosed my preexisting condition as something else. Physio told me I couldn't be having the issues I have had since age 8 then compared me to my friend I brought along, saying I should be like them and "normal" - when I never have been nor will I ever be.

Staff here did not take my issues seriously. Avoid!
