I had an appointment for a follow up screening at the Breast Screening Unit and I was somewhat scared, didn't know what to expect. I was explained by a nurse when I called why I was called back.
I felt looked after from the moment I went in and from the receptionist to a doctor. Everybody was caring and so lovely to me and to other women patients who were there too.
It was humbling experience. I was lucky to have a good results and I got all clear today. I left happy and the nurse and a doctor were visibly pleased that I had nothing to worry about. What a lovely bunch of people, what we would do without them.
I will try to get all the names of the nurses, doctor and the receptionist, I want them all to know how wonderful they are and what a great job they are all doing!
I am very grateful to them and to NHS.
