I attended the accident and emergency department with acute abdominal pain. I was seen with in 20 minutes and the team did all that they could to diagnose the problem.
It was discovered that I had a perforated bowel and I had to have an emergency operation.
After the operation I spent a week in hostpital first on ITU and then on Geddington ward.
All the time I was in Kettering General Hostpital the care I received was exceptional.
All the staff I dealt with were professional, friendly, thoughtful and caring. All the way through my stay and in all departments the Doctors, Nurses, Care Assistants, Porters and Radioligists did a brilliant job and I could not of asked for better care.
I know the NHS system ca be flawed at times, but the people who work for it are not. To be frank without the highly professional dedicated staff I I would not be here to tell the tale.
So I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone one at
KGH.
Keep up the good work you are doing a brilliant job.
