"A&E to be proud of"

We had our first trip to SCH A&E this week when our 4 year old boy split his chin open at home. He was so frightened as we travelled there but within moments of arriving was calm and relaxed. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and kind. We were registered and triaged and given pain relief within 10 minutes. We then saw the doctor, got a full exam, had the wound closed by a fabulous nurse and discharged all within an hour. This was on a snowy cold December evening and the department was busy. Incredibly impressed and grateful. We are very lucky to have the NHS and to have such a fantastic representation of it, thank you so much
