"My experience with Nutgroove Walk-In Centre"

About: Knowsley NHS Walk-in Centre, Huyton

(as the patient),

My husband and I went to give blood samples at the blood Dept in Nutgroove walk in centre. we got there at 7:40am and the centre was closed would be re-opened at 8:30. Both my husband and I work full time and there was no way we could have waited till 8:30.

It was further explained to us that the dept opened at 7:00 solely for workers. So what I want to know is why at 7:40 the place was already crowded with pensioners who, it didn't seem to me, to be workers yet being attended to? Causing us to miss our session. If such services are going to be offered, then I think they should be done properly.

Dear Maestro

Thank you for your comments about the Phlebotomy Service at Nutgrove Villa, Huyton. I am very sorry that you are unhappy with the service you received and that you and your husband did not have a very positive experience.

It would help us if we had a little more infomation from you please. Our Phlebotomy Services Manager would really appreciate the opportunity of discussing the matter with you.

Please call PALS (Patient Advice & Liaison Service) 0800 0730578 and we will put you in touch with the Phlebotomy Manager who will be very pleased to help.

With kind regards
