"Waste of time"

About: Brinsworth Medical Centre

Getting through to the surgery is a nightmare either the phone is engaged or cuts you off.

Getting an appointment within 3 weeks is impossible never had such a poor doctors surgery .

Its quite frighting as to how old people get on.

Why the receptionist have to ask why you need to see the doctor is beyond me, what medical qualifications do they have to be asking such personal questions. When you ring for an appointment there is never one available even 2-3 wks in advance, then your asked if you can go to wickesley , yes you feel ill and you really feel like tying to get a bus to wickesley. The appointment log in machine very often doesn't work and you miss the appointment that you waited 3 weeks for. Chairs are unsuitable in waiting room most old people cant get up from them. The blood pressure machine is always out of paper. When you do get to see a doctor you are fobbed off with , see how it goes in the next couple of weeks, I myself have had a problem with my arm since July, was told it was something it wasn't, went back in August , was recommended physio after waiting about 10 weeks found the doctors had forgot to refer me. Just a complete nightmare. Need more doctors and not same ones just fleeting from one surgery to another, ones with some bed side manors that actually look at you when your talking and not at the computer.
