Never had a consultation like it went to see gp as per a txt I got that I needed to be seen went in then gp started going on about the hospital should have referred me to another specialist as I am already under one specialist and that some gps are soft but he was not going to be soft and they were not going to refer me after a while when I explained that it was another gp at the surgery that had written to my specialist for advice they did refer me I felt like crying when I came out I work for the Nhs and have never encountered anything like it disgusted

I felt like I should not be there making a fuss because I have a problem and just because I am already under a specialist does not give the gp the right to rant and make me feel like I should not have bothered coming absolutely horrified

We are sorry to read that your consultation with one of our GPs left you feeling distressed, disgusted and horrified.

The initial part of our primary mission is ‘to provide patients with the highest quality personal health care, meeting medical needs and managing patients’ expectations with compassion and professionalism.

We promote inclusive care programmes where appropriate, working in collaboration with supporting medical and voluntary organisations.’

It seems that the level of your care has fallen short of the high standards we strive to achieve and maintain within the practice.
