"Ambulance response time"

My child with a head and neck injury which happened at school,had to wait two hours and thirty minutes for an ambulance to come, we were told not to move him by the call centre when 999 was called, he was in a pie kit laid on the school field in freezing temperatures, the call centre told school when they rang for updates on ambulance arrival,if they called again then he would go to the back of the queue !! The staff were great and X-rays etc happened quickly, but there response times are disgusting !!

And to top it off you can't select a and e in the drop down menu !
