"Substance misuse treatment"

About: Inclusion Wisbech

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The service has mostly met my treatment needs as long as I am not coerced or forced to do anything I don’t want.  I am “content” with the service as I have had an “old school” keyworker who displays more common sense than most and is not afraid to go against current treatment fashions!  This has left me with my dignity intact and a feeling of involvement in my treatment.  I would recommend this service to a friend if there were no alternatives such as the long overdue ‘heroin treatment’.

Hi

Thanks for your detailed comments. I really hope you don't feel 'coerced' in any part of your treatment or anyone else as I'd be very happy to hear about it. We work within guidance whether that is nationally or locally. I truly believe we have a great staff team whether they are 'old school' or joined the team recently. We use a range of options for people in their treatment but I'm unsure what you mean re 'Heroin treatment'.

really pleased that you feel involved in your treatment as this is really important to us.

Happy to continue this discussion if you would like to call me on 07789273990.
