The staff were not rude and dismissive.
They were so busy I was regularly leftfor hours with no care, no painkillers, and confusion over other drugs required.
At times they didn’t seem to know who I was (despite being in for a week) and I was left alone all night the first night in the wardwith the baby as I was told they couldn’t help as my midwife was busy.
They were also rude to my same sax partner.
I hd a Breakdown and the midwife on duty came in and told me off- said I was upsetting the other ladies.
I then became too paranoid to leave my cubicle and felt hopeless.
Here were some wonderful midwives but some with a bad attitude and awful care.
I self discharged in the end as I felt I would be safer at home.
"This was one of the worst experiences of my life"
