About: Royal Brompton Hospital / Respiratory medicine

I was admitted for a planned visit to wean steroids, Victoria Ward is quiet old and has some issues to do with it's age which cannot really be helped.

The staff were great, always happy to answer any questions you may have and very attentive to patient care.

you are given the freedom to do what you want based on your health.

You are encouraged to use the gym session which are for an hour 4 days a week which i fell is a very positive thing and allows you to get a level of exercise based on your condition and ability.

the best feature of the ward is the staff and there teamwork and respect of patients

Our exercise programmes are tailored for patients so they are suitable for their level of fitness, and are accompanied by educational sessions encompassing all aspects of respiratory care.
