"Ruby Ward patients and staff"

About: Rampton Hospital / National High Secure Healthcare Service for Women

(as the patient),

The Sense of Community project has affected me in a good way. It has brought patients and staff together more. It was a big achievement winning it. It motivated people to get up and be involved.

Thank you for sharing with us your views of the Sense of Community project. I am delighted that you feel included and valued and that the project has enhanced your relationships with some staff and patients. Congratulations to you and the rest of the Ruby ward patients and staff for being were awarded the Sense of Community trophy for the Rubettes garden. The judges were impressed with how you demonstrated an inclusive approach and the impact it made on patients’ road to recovery. This included a blog post, your own emblem and gardening work which produce lettuce, carrots and flowers which were used as window decorations.

hopefully if this level of motivation if kept up by all patients and staff, Ruby ward will win another trophy.

thank you

Annett
