"Shocking treatment"

About: University Hospital (Coventry) / Diabetic medicine

My 80 year old father had to use travel assistance today, as he is dependent for dialysis.

I was unable to assist today, as snowed in, on an impassable road, so a taxi was provided from Leicester to Daventry to UHCW!

For the return, the taxi arrived whilst he was still on dialysis, said they couldn't wait, and so when he finished his treatments, he went to the service desk, and asked how they could assist, to which he was informed "they didn't know"

He then had to make his own way (struggles to walk more than 50 metres) to try and hail a taxi, costing him £75.

Appalling treatment of someone over 80!
