I arrived at A&E by taxi being virtually unable to walk. At first the receptionist appeared disinterested, but once I asked for a wheelchair one could not have faulted my care both from A&E itself, and the physiotherapist assessment to check I would be able to manage at home through waiting for the ambulance to take me home. It is inevitable that such services are going to have waiting between each section -triage, doctor, radiology etc etc, but a TV was available to reduce the boredom. The staff, both medical and porters worked with humour and could not have carried out their job better. On my experience they have learned from their previous CQC inspection.
