"NHS - this was a job better done"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital

(as a service user),

I was frightened at the thought of going in for my Hernia operation. I needn’t have been. S/nurses Jackie and Emma put me at my ease and Surgeon Mr. Ansari performed the operation exceeding my expectation. Apart from an expected bit of discomfort the first couple of days I am now 3 weeks after the op out walking the dog, pain free and generally feeling pretty good. Many thanks for the care, attention and the putting me at ease to the staff mentioned and others involved not least of course the pre-op anesthetist and staff.

I could not have been better looked after. I had this op done privately (on the other side) but I have to say well done NHS this was a job better done. In at 8 out at 3.

Dear GD Puppy Walker

Thank you for taking the time to post feedback on Care Opinion, It can be daunting coming into hospital for an operation and I'm glad to see that the nursing staff put you at ease and your surgery went well. I see your recovery is going well and hope it continues to do so. I will pass on your comments to all the staff particularly Jackie, Emma and Mr Ansari who will appreciate them.

Wishing you well over the festive period

Nola
