My wife had a bi-annual colon smear test come back suspect in early July. She attended a referral appt for specialist nurse consultation within 10 days. A colonoscopy within 4 weeks. Corrective surgery within a further 5 weeks. The kindness, compassion, skill and empathy of all staff brought us through the whole episode in a way that quite honestly we believe saved her life, and of which the Queen could not have gotten better treatment. The Queens/King George hospitals and our amazing, wonderful, unique NHS will always be in our hearts and memory for all of this and more.
Always clean and tidy, with staff who never said no to anything. Not just the clinical staff, but porters, cleaners, pharmacy and the various volunteers all about.
How lucky are we in the U-K to have this facility and the people who work within the system.
Thank you really is too small a word to them all.
"How they saved my wife's life!!!!"
