"Aortic root graft and heart valve surgery"

I underwent surgery at Castle Hill hospital in December 2016, I had an aortic root graft and aortic valve replacement , understandably I was nervous , the staff on ward 26 were amazing both before and following my surgery .I was in hospital over the Christmas period and they put a lot of effort in over that period cheering all the patients up .The surgical team were amazing and explained my procedure in great detail , answering any questions I may have had .I was very happy with the care I recieved at the hospital.
