"Penguin ward"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

Yesterday my little boy was extremely poorly and couldn’t get a doctors appointment as I was too late to call them. We went to walk in centre and was turned away as it was fully booked. Finally we was seen at meddoc and the doctor was concerned but unsure what the problem was. We was sent to Medway hospital penguin ward straight away. The staff were absolutely fantastic. We was well looked after and our little boy has tonsillitis at 8months but the senior doctor noticed it straight away. This meant our little boy was given the treatment needed straight away. Inbetween his checks the staff supplied us with baby books and tried to make him smile. I can not thank the team enough.
